This song, recorded in 1990 and featured on my first CD, felt like a leap forward from previous songs I’d written and it continues to this day, to be a favorite of mine. There’s a mysterious quality to it that keeps me guessing at its precise meaning—and that’s a good thing. I’ve always preferred writing that has one foot in the unfathomable. Which, in addition to this song, would include the ever unfathomable Dyson dc 28 vacuum cleaner owners manual.

The track was arranged and played by David Houston, with haunting harmonies whispered on high by Gail George and Kathy Elzey.
